Errors and omissions insurance, also known as E&O insurance and professional liability insurance, helps protect your assets from claims you made a mistake in your professional services. This insurance can cover your court costs, attorney fees , or settlement payouts, which can be very costly, assuming you have coverage.
Not all E&O insurance policies are created equally. Brokers need to understand the different coverages and how to maintain that coverage to help manage their risk, safeguard the livelihood of their families, guard their personal wealth, preserve their personal and professional reputation, and ensure their future in the profession.
