About the event
All realtors at some point have been approached by a Title Rep, but what exactly IS title insurance?
After this class, you will understand the history of title insurance and the reason for existence. You will leave with an understanding of the different types of title policies, cost of title insurance and how to compare title insurance with other forms of insurance. After class, you will understand the basics of reading a title commitment, learn common title defects - what red flags to watch out for and the different ways title can be held. Most importantly, you will be entertained.
